CELC News & Updates
Hello Creekside Families,
A big congratulations to the staff and families for completing our second week of Hybrid Learning. It has been quite an experience. I enjoyed visiting a few of the virtual Teddy Bear Picnics. Some of the office staff was able to pop in as well. It was great to see all of the smiles and "stuffies". The students continue to impress us with their resilience and perseverance. Their love for learning and being with friends is evident in their smiles and conversations. Thank you to the families for your continued support. The staff has worked hard to ensure the safety of our families. Please avoid becoming complacent with our COVID related procedures. Following protocols is key to our ability to stay safe, remain open, and welcome parents into campus to drop off and pick up students.
Here are some updates and reminders to keep you informed:
- EAK registration is now open! See the flyer below.
- Thank you for the words of encouragement and thanks that we have received. It is greatly appreciated.
- Masks are required for parents and siblings when dropping and picking up your student (ages 3 and up).
- Please respect the assigned drop off and pick up times. Please do not enter early.
- Reminder- the classroom door will be opened by the teacher when he/she is ready to welcome and/or release students.
- Please social distance yourselves from other families.
- Reminder- the tables in the lunch area are not open for parents. We work very hard to keep them sanitized. If someone sits there, it has to be sanitized again.

- The district has tech support available to parents. Please email helpdesk@alpineschools.net with your technology questions.
- The office is open for appointments. Please call and let us know how we can help you.
- The office is currently closed from 8:30 am to 9:10 am and 1:20 pm to 2:00 pm. The staff is being utilized at those times to support drop off and pick up.
- Please send us pictures of your students hard at work. We would love to post them on social media.
- Thank you for the water bottle donations!
- If your student is in need of a mask, let us know. We had some cloth masks donated.
- AUSD's Reopening Guidebook is available to download below.
We are looking forward to another fun and productive week! It looks like it will continue to be pretty warm. Please make sure your students dress in cool clothes and bring plenty of water.

Opportunities to Help
We are happy to announce that we have a PTA Board and SSC. Thank you to the parents who volunteered to take on these important roles. We are also looking forward to the day when we can have parent volunteers back on campus. As soon as we are able to, we will communicate the process to become a volunteer. At this time, we are looking at virtual ways for parents to help. Stay tuned for more information.
