Reading: Listening comprehension, realistic fiction, introduce text, plot, ask and answer questions, reflect and share. Letter O and identify uppercase and lowercase letters.
Writing: Apply Independent Writing and Conferences. Plan by generating ideas through class discussions and drawings. Discuss with adult assistance how the author uses words that help the reader visualize.
Math: Introducing and developing numbers 0-5
Science: Using 5 senses to identify sound waves.
Social Studies: Location such as directional and positional words.
Important Reminders: Morning drop off times are 7:10-7:45. Tardy bell rings at 7:45. Dismissal is 3:55 for car and 4:10 for bus. Please send a change of clothes in backpack. Students may bring a water bottle with lid. Remember that a good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast are essential to optimal learning for our students.
