magnetic
magnetic storage is the oldest type of storage of them all. its cheap and its got a decent amount of memory. You could get at the cheapest for around £10 for the magnetic tape. for the other two its pretty cheap but not as cheap as the tape. the other two cost around £90 but you get 1TB.
magnetic tape
The magnetic tape lasts for around 15 years but is very reliable if not damaged. this is usually to slow for general use but good for back ups. it is portable but you need a tape reader.
portable hard drive
the portable hard drive is extremly reliable and has good durability when the disk is not in use but it is vulnerable if it is moving and can be affected by magnetic fields and heat. the access speed is 480mb/s and it can fit in a large pocket.
internal hard drive
same as the portable hard drive it holds 1TB for around £90. very reliable but vulnerable when the disk is moving. its not portable because it is built into the computer. The acess speed is 3GB/s.
