Please remember reading logs are put into FOCUS but the grades are not averaged into the overall grade. Reading is a homework expectations and students do need to read for 20 minutes each and every night as well as write a summary. A summary is not one sentence and will not be counted as completion toward this score. Students earn 20 points (5 points) for each night of completion - Monday through Thursday and the reading log is always due on Friday. We have been working on character traits so students will need to write a summary about their character using character trait words we have learned in both reading and writing.
