Habit 7 - Sharpen the Saw
This month your child is learning how to use Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw- Balance feels best.
This habit focuses on students learning to take care of their body by eating right, exercising, getting sleep, spending time with family and friends.
How to Sharpen the Saw at Home:
I take care of my body by eating right, exercising, playing outside, and getting sleep. I spend time with family and friends and enjoy their company. I learn in lots of ways and lots of places, not just at school. I am always seeking to learn new information. I take time to find meaningful ways to help others.
1) Have a family game night.
2) Exercise together. Keep a health journal-Everyone sets a goal for the week.
3) Read together!
4) Make your own family club.
5) Serve others in the community
**Please take a moment to provide us with feedback about the transfer of the 7 Habits from the school environment to the home environment. Your feedback will help us in our journey to develop leadership in every child in school and within the greater community!
