Multi-Tiered System of Support - MTSS Tier 1 Mental Health
Wednesday, September 29, 2021, 9-11:00 MST
Please join us for the MTSS Tier 1 training on Mental Health presented by two authors of Making MTSS Work, Dr. Donohue and Dr. Goodman-Scott.
Dr. Goodman Scott and Dr. Donohue will provide background on mental health concerns common in K-12 students/youth, including definitions, unique presentation in populations, and contextual and cultural considerations. The presenters will also provide examples of Tier 1 school-based recommendations for addressing the previously described mental health concerns. They will discuss data examined in Tier 1 and organize data to bring to our Tier 2 professional development session on October 26, 2021.

a. Provide an overview of culturally sustaining systemic process providing Tier 2 supports
b. Develop strategies to collect and analyze data
c. Identify evidence-based practices
d. Document data-based progress monitoring plan
