National Family Engagement Month

November is National Family Engagement Month!

Thank you, parents, guardians, and caregivers, for allowing your student to be a part of the North Little Rock School District. Thank you for entrusting them into our care.

Research shows that when schools and families are engaged in meaningful, two-way communication, students benefit in the following ways:

  • Positive attitude about school
  • Higher grades and test scores, which equal higher achievement
  • Better attendance
  • Higher graduation rates
  • Greater enrollment in post-secondary educational opportunities

If you have not already, please consider joining your child's PTA. For more information, please contact Ms. Crystal Barker, District Parent & Family Engagement Coordinator, by email at or by phone at (501) 771-8013.

Please click here to visit the Parent & Family Engagement page on our website.
