TO INSPIRE STUDENTS TO BECOME LIFELONG LEARNERS!
Monthly Staff Goal/Challenge Reminder
- This month I challenge you to be up and away from your computer desk/chair while teaching. Our students deserve the best version of us each and every day so let's get up from our chairs and get moving around the classroom to help our students reach their goals!

Staff Updates
Make sure we are using our time wisely in the mornings with our students! Be in the rooms ready to go. Try to have everything done so you don't have to leave the classroom during that time.
Retention meetings will start taking place next week…I must be there, so make sure you check my calendar and let me know when the meeting will be. It may be at a conflicting time with another one, so the first one that tells me or schedules it on my calendar is the one who is booked. Thank you!
Progress Reports go home February 9th. Please make sure you are explaining, explaining, and over explaining each student’s progress on progress reports and grade cards. It is much better to OVER explain than to not explain enough. We need to make sure our parents know exactly where their children are and that they know what specific skills they have been working on and what skills they will be working on in the future. If students are struggling in areas, please make sure you are giving tips and strategies for parents to use at home as well. Please make sure the assessment wall is updated by February 9th from any changes made during progress report time.
We have had a few new students enroll. Please make sure you are alerting Title and Barnett so we can get them STAR Tested and DRA Tested!
Remember that on Fridays you can purchase a $2.00 Jeans Day Bands from Trina to wear Professional Jeans unless we are having parents in the building. Remember we only wear spartan gear and t-shirts with tennis shoes when I call a spirit day!
