Winter Parties TOMORROW!

Ready to Party?

We have some fun times ahead of us tomorrow! Our classroom Winter Parties are on the way, and the boys and girls are VERY excited! Here's the rundown of activities in case you can join us:

2:00 pm - Holiday Song Sing Along in the APR - Students will have a chance to sing along to the classics, such as Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Upon The House Top, and many more! Mrs. Kelly, our music teacher, has selected the songs, Mrs. Miller will play the piano, and Mrs. Mary, one of our special education paraprofessionals, will help with the singing! As is tradition, we will end with school staff members helping to act out the Twelve Days of Christmas, which is always a fun treat! The boys and girls will have a GREAT time!

2:30 pm - Everyone will be dismissed back to their classrooms for their Winter Parties! All boys and girls will be treated to frozen custard donated from Culver's, and there will certainly be other sweet, salty, and healthy snacks to eat. Boys and girls will play games and enjoy a fun afternoon celebrating with friends.

SPECIAL NOTE IF YOU PLAN TO HELP WITH PARTIES: We invite parents to join us for the parties, but please remember that you will need to enter through the front doors of the school (please do not attempt to enter through any side- or back-doors), you will need your ID (it will be checked by one of our table volunteers), you will receive a special visitors stickers, and you will sign in upon your arrival. Thank you for understanding that these procedures are put into place for the safety of the students and staff at our school.

IF YOU ARE COMING TO SETUP FOR PARTIES, PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE EARLIER THAN 2:00 PM--PARENTS HELPING TO SET UP IN THE ROOMS WILL NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE CLASSROOM UNTIL THE STUDENTS GO TO THE APR FOR THE SING ALONG.

We are so very excited for our fun day tomorrow, then don't forget that Thursday is PAJAMA DAY! We will watch the Polar Express at lunch and have hot cocoa or warm apple cider for our boys and girls.

Happy Holidays from the Delaware Team!
