From the Principal...Kristy McKnight
Thank you for joining us during our Open Houses this week. We are so glad you had the opportunity to see your child's classroom and the building.
Conferences are Thursday, October 7th and Friday, October 8th. Conferences will be offered both in-person and virtually so that you can choose the best option for your family. Scheduling is done via Home Access Center and is accessible now. You can find specific directions for reserving a conference time here. The conference scheduler will be open through October 4th. For those selecting in-person conferences, masks need to be worn while in the building.

The PTO is providing the Ferson staff with dinner, drinks, and snacks during Parent/Teacher Conferences on October 7, 2021.
We will be providing boxed meals from Smitty’s on the Corner, a local St. Charles business.
We are also looking for drink and snack donations. Please use this SignUpGenius https://fersoncreekpto.tiny.us/2021ConferenceMealsDonations to make a donation of snacks or drinks.
All food and drinks must be wrapped in individual servings. We cannot accept homemade treats. Donations should be dropped off at the Ferson Creek office no later than Wednesday, October 6th, 2021.

Spirit Wear Update
Due to nationwide supply shortages, our Spirit Wear order delivery has been delayed. Our vendor is working to wrap up our order as quickly as possible. We will provide an update in the next two weeks with a delivery ETA. Once our order is fulfilled, items will be sent home in backpacks with your student.

How Can I Help Ferson?
All parents, guardians, and staff members are welcomed to be a part of the PTO community. We rely on people like you to help our organization do great things! Even though school looks different than what we are used to, the PTO still works hard behind the scenes in any way we can.
Check out the link below to see a variety of ways that you can help make Ferson a welcoming and exciting place for our students to learn. There's a wide variety of ways you can help, from volunteering as a committee chair to volunteering on as needed basis, from home on your own time to during the school day. We look forward to working together for our students!
(If you signed up during Welcome Day, you may see that your name has transferred from the paper sign ups that were posted on the front windows of the school onto this SignUpGenius.)
Want to sign up to be a Room Parent or Classroom Helper? The SignUpGenius is now open.
**PLEASE NOTE: ALL volunteer opportunities this school year are dependent upon District 303's most current guidelines regarding school events and volunteers being allowed in school buildings.**
