Principal's Message
Dear SFX Family,
I hope you enjoyed the three-day weekend!
Registration for returning students is next week, January 24-28. As discussed in the Home & School meeting last week, registration will be done online through the FACTS Family Portal and the First Bank & Trust Portal. If you have not set up your FACTS Family Portal account yet, please do so ASAP. Here are the instructions. We will send a separate email with specific instructions on re-enrollment steps later this week. I also presented the 2022-2023 Tuition and Fees at the meeting. You can view that document here.
This week we have a few new events. We wish our soccer team the best of luck as they kick off their season with three games! All are posted on our school calendar. The Middle School Bible Study with Fr. Andrew also begins this Thursday. And on Friday, the Fiesta Club will resume.
Below you will find information from the Home & School Meeting in their News section. This Thursday, the Men's Club will host its January Meeting. Lastly, the deadline for Old Metairie Fest sponsorships is February 4, 2022.
Have a great rest of the week!
May God bless you and keep you,
Jessica

2nd and 3rd Grade Parents: Don't forget to submit your child's number of minutes read by Friday afternoon each week. You can do so here. This is the last week of the season tip-off, so be sure to submit all minutes read so that we can advance to the Round of 68!
Last week our students read for a total of 2,560 minutes! Congratulations to 3T for having the highest average of minutes read last week! Last week's individual homeroom winners were Lia (2H), Caroline (3S), and Liam (3T).
H&S News:
Dear Families,
We are so very sorry for the inconvenience of Tuesday's meeting having a limit of 100 participants. We usually do not have a limit and will make sure it doesn't happen again for future Zoom meetings. On the upside, it is pleasing to know that we had way more than 100 people interested in participating in the meeting that night :) Thank you for being patient and understanding with us. Please see the minutes, budget, and list of Spring events, and email Home and School with any questions!
Stay awesome!
