Split-brain Research

In the 1960's the only way to cure a certain kind of epilepsy was to cut the corpus callosum which was the link between both sides of the brain. This operation would cause some people to act very different. Roger Sperry along with Michael Gazzaniga researched the effects of this operation and what each hemisphere of the brain did. They discovered that the left side is more logical where as the right side is intuitive.
