November 26th - 30th
Grateful
November 26th: All Grade Levels
Class Discussion:
What were you thankful for over the break that didn't require any money? (Could be a thing, event, or time with a person)
November 27th: All Grade Levels
Gratitude Challenge Continued: Remind students that they were to find a staff member and a person a home to show their gratitude to before the break.
Ask students how that activity went. Allow them to reflect and share together with the group. If they didn't finish the task, encourage them to do so this week.
November 28th: All Grade Levels
Gratitude Challenge Continued: Ask students to now to think of a student in their grade level that they feel gratitude for. They can either verbally express their gratitude later in the day, or they can write them a note now as your class meeting concludes.
November 29th: All Grade Levels
Class Discussion:
What are three items that you sometimes take for granted, but you are actually really grateful for when you think about them. (Teachers, you are going to have to start this discussion.)
November 30th: All Grade Levels
