Pumpkins and Books

October 31st

Each class will be given a pumpkin and will choose a book as their inspiration for the pumpkin decorating contest. Pumpkins are displayed outside the classroom, and many classes dress to accompany their pumpkin.

Students are encouraged to vote for their favorite pumpkin by dropping loose change into the collection bins. Funds collected will be used to provide books for children that could not otherwise afford them and to supplement classroom libraries.

Coin-A-Day Challenge
