Notes From Nurse G
All Things COVID
The COVID Fact Sheet for Parents (see below) can also be found on the Open for Learning Page on the Forsyth County Schools website. There is a lot of good information in it. Please read it thoroughly. It's especially important to note that if anyone in the home is awaiting COVID test results (rapid and/or PCR), PLEASE keep all students at home until results are received.
If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to email me at gsampson@forsyth.k12.ga.us or Mrs. Webb at Lwebb@forsyth.k12.ga.us.
Please click HERE for complete details of the COVID direct exposure (at school) quarantine guidelines. Outside of school exposures may upload their form HERE or use the link below.
Facts for Families
Keep it (Mask) UP!
Our Wildcats are doing such a great job keeping our Big Creek family safe. Let's keep up the wonderful work! I would like to remind everyone about the proper use of face masks.
- Cloth masks should be washed after each use. Do not wear them for more than one day without washing.
- Make sure your child has their mask prior to leaving the house each morning.
- If your student is a car rider, they should put their masks on before exiting the car each morning.
- If your student is a bus rider, they should wear their mask at the bus stop AND for the duration of the bus ride.
- All students should carry an extra mask in their backpack and know where it is.
The mask will only do what it's meant to do if it is worn correctly -- covering both the nose and the mouth. Please correct your child if you see them wearing their mask incorrectly. I know face masks can be frustrating and tedious to deal with, but following this best practice will help keep our kids healthy and in school.
