Keeping our school community informed #FalconFamily
Assistant Principals' Bulletin
During lunch, students have the opportunity to socialize with friends, play sports on the PE fields or go to the library. We have many students who choose to play card games, attend club meetings, buy snacks from the ASB and of course eat their lunches. So many good choices!
Unfortunately, a couple times last week we had students rush to gather because they thought "something was happening." This reaction resulted in pushing, food throwing and other unacceptable behaviors.
Safety is a priority at Hilltop Middle School. Students must remember that their actions cause a reaction. If that reaction is unsafe, those behaviors will result in consequences.
Make good choices, Falcons. There are many positive activities to engage in during lunch. Find one that suits you!
Sincerely,
Ms. Conlon & Ms. Cruz

ASB Announcements
After two long years, we are excited to bring back our Annual Falcon Color Run. This will be an exciting event for our students!
This run will take place during the school day, 11:00-12:55, on April 29th, 2022. The ASB students and PE teachers have designed a one and half-mile course that stretches throughout our campus, and along the way, there will be water and color stations where adults will sprinkle the students with colored powder and soak kids with water. (Don’t worry, it is not dangerous--it is food-grade powder. Additionally, masks will be provided upon request if your child has asthma or if you have any concerns, just call the ASB office). The goal is to be as colorful as possible by the end, so please expect that your kids will come home very colorful (and maybe a bit messy)! We will also have adults at water stations at the end of the course, and we’ll have music and a celebration dance party at the finish line!
As you know, Hilltop Middle supports your child in many ways outside of the regular classroom. However, we cannot do all of this without the funds. We need all families to participate in this fundraiser to whatever extent that they are able to. The donation form is also included in this letter. No student is required to fundraise in order to participate in this event.
If you have any questions about the event, please email or call Ms. Reimund in the ASB office (619) 498-2785, or email at sarah.reimund@sweetwaterschools.org
Thank you in advance for supporting our students!
Ms. Reimund
