Arctic walrus go where the ice is, meaning fewer for Alaskans to hunt
Global warming causes ice to melt in the arctic. Most arctic animals live on ice. Therefore if the ice is melting it will cause them to migrate where the ice is. Hunting has become a problem, not for the animals but for the people who live in Alaska and places like that. Walrus used to be their main meal but now that the walrus have migrated to where the ice is it has become a hard task to find and hunt them.
what is global warming?
Global warming is caused by pollution. When humans pollute the air it causes earth's temperatures to increase. It causes ice to melt and forest fires throughout the globe. Which destroy habitats and leave animals to find homes somewhere else.
What to do to prevent global warming
We must stop littering in state parks because that causes the earth's animals to want a cleaner and healthier habitat. We also should find a way where we aren't using so much gas and polluting the air with it. it causes the earth's air to be hard to breathe in and warm up.
Why is the walrus article important?
It shows a real life example of global warming and how it is effecting the earth and the people who live there, and everything that has happened because of us.
