Cindy Morency

I am a resident of Yale and live with my husband Robert and my son Jarod. Robert and I have been married 22 years. Jarod is 17 and currently a senior at Yale High School. I also have another son Ted who is 22. Ted recently moved to Indiana after an opportunity to work in his certification area (alternative energy/turbine). Other family members are our golden retriever, 3 cats and 3 ducks. Before Yale, I worked at Woodland Developmental Center through RESA. I was a program assistant before obtaining my degree and continued to long term substitute teach in both the art class and the severely mentally impaired classroom. I obtained my YJH position in September of 2008. I attended SVSU and recently received my MAT in Special Education. One day I hope to become part of a team that builds a curriculum for impaired learners that also challenges and shadows general education classes. To me, the true value of what I do is the celebrations of my students when they feel proud of their accomplishments great and small!
