Healthy Relationships ManUP Event
On Thursday, March 5th, at Woodrow Wilson High School, the Man University Program (ManUP) will hosted The Rape and Abuse Crisis Center for a discussion on “Healthy Relationships.”
The Man University Program (ManUP) is a program that is headed by a diverse group of individuals within the community who have come together to provide mentorship, fellowship, networking opportunities, and community outreach. ManUP targets a diverse group of adolescent males regardless of race, color, creed, social-economic status, or academic status. We discuss many topics that center around the theme of identity. We recognize that manhood consists of a lot of small parts and are concerned with the number of males that are receiving information about masculinity from resources that contribute to an unhealthy definition of being a man. Therefore, ManUP aims to provide as many positive role models and experiences that are possible.
