CD Bulletin
Dear Country Dale Families,
Last week Thursday and Friday we had many parents join us for “Pastries with Parents” and we had a wonderful time sipping coffee and eating donuts. It was great to see so many familiar faces and I want to thank our PTO for sponsoring such a thoughtful event.
As you can see, our parking lot and playground continues to house equipment from the utility easement construction project. The project manager has informed me that he hopes things will be wrapped up by the end of March. Thank you for your patience and understanding as I know the equipment puts constraints on our parent drop-off and pick-up traffic.
Have a great week!
Shaunna LaPlant - Country Dale Principal

WHEN TO SEND YOUR CHILD TO SCHOOL OR NOT?
Our main offices and nursing services have been seeing an abundance of sickness over the last few weeks. Lately, we have been seeing children sent to school that had been vomiting within the last 24 hours, only to have another instance happen while at school. We are taking this opportunity to remind families to please follow the FPS Communicable Decision Tree we shared earlier in the year when it comes to assessing if you should send your child to school or not. As with any communicable disease, you will receive guidance from our nursing services staff on how long your child should be excluded from school based on their symptoms of illness or diagnosis as applicable.
HEALTHROOM ITEMS
Country Dale's health room is in need of spare items for students. We are looking for the following items sizes 4T to extra large (14-16). However, we have more of a demand for the smaller sizes.
- boys sweatpants/warm-up pants
- girls legging or sweatpants/warm-up pants
Please, only these items. We currently have plenty of other clothing. Thank you.
REGISTRATION FOR NEXT SCHOOL YEAR IS NOW OPEN!
Registration opened on Monday, December 5th for the 2023-24 school year on our website here. Registration is for any new families to Franklin or new students looking to register for next year in 4K, 5K or up through 12th grade. If you have any friends or family in Franklin that plan to have children attend Franklin Public Schools next year, please pass this information along to them! Registering early helps to get all information in our system for planned communications.
Please note that any student that is already attending Franklin Public Schools DOES NOT need to register for next school year as a new student. This includes students already in Preschool Speech, Early Childhood, and 4K. All parents/guardians will be required to review your student’s data during our summer Back-To-School Online Check-In process. Any family who knows a student will not be returning for the next school year should notify your school’s main office staff.
