- He was the youngest of six children

- Came from a long line of scientists

- His mother died when he was just 8, his father was a doctor

- He was a child of wealth and loved to explore nature

Theory of Evolution

Many scientists believed that all species were either here when the earth began or created of natural history. Darwin however noticed similarities among species all over the globe. Leading him to believe that have evolved from common ancestors.
