This Week's Theme: TAKING CRITICISM
This week, we have two videos and an article that may help you with this topic:
- Our Elementary video is called, "Austin's Butterfly" and is a true story about how accepting and using feedback can help make your performance better!
- Our Secondary video is called, "How to Take Criticism." While this focuses on how to take criticism "like a man," the lessons are valuable for all of us. Take criticism like a Wo(man)!
- The article, "How to Accept and Give Professional Criticism with Grace" is linked HERE. It was published in Inc.
Reflect on your thoughts whenever you are criticized. Try writing your initial reactions, give yourself some processing time, then write your final takeaways. This may help you to process criticism in a more positive manner.
