Smore News for the Weekend...

I’d like to address you all on a very personal level and say—THANK YOU! Thank you for all of your thoughts, cards, well wishes, gifts, etc. as I recouped from my surgery. I’m doing well and I’m very much ready to return to my SRES family on Tuesday! I’m looking forward to seeing all of you and our students! I’m truly blessed to have all of you in my life—thank you!

As we’ve come to the end of National Arts In Education Week, we’d like to thank you for opening your classroom to the community this week. As we’ve found through our journey to use instructional strategies where students are learning with and through the arts, students are thinking more creatively, learning more creatively and innovatively! SRES is an exciting place to learn! Thanks to all of you for making it happen!

Thank you again for all you do to ignite Success Through a creative Environment with an Achievement Mindset!

Patty and Hannah.

Tech Survey

All Certificated Staff should have received this email, please take a moment and complete the survey!

"FCPS is working with consultants from EdSurge (@edsurge www.edsurge.com) to better understand the education software used in our district and ensure that it is meeting our needs. Your voice is critical to this initiative, so we would like to invite you to click this link and complete a short, anonymous survey called the Toolbox Challenge! The survey will be open until October 4th. Check out this video that explains more about the Toolbox Challenge.

The data you provide through the survey will be anonymous, but will enable FCPS to improve our decision-making with regard to the education technology we purchase, and better support you by understanding what is working (and not working) in your classrooms.

Again, your voice is incredibly important for this work so we hope you find some time over the next three weeks to complete the Toolbox Challenge on your phone, tablet, or computer."
