GRINCH DAY Dec. 21!
Preschool and kindergarten students will read the classic Dr. Seuss story "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". Students will explore ways to grow the Grinch's' heart (which is two sizes too small) with acts of kindness. Each day, I will announce a new kindness goal for students to try at school or at home. With each passing day, as students demonstrate acts of kindness, the Grinch's heart will grow bigger and bigger!
On Tuesday, Dec. 21 we will celebrate Kindness with GRINCH DAY!
Staff and students are encouraged to dress up like the characters in the story.
Ideas include wearing green, red, a Grinch shirt, antlers like the Grinch's dog Max, or create a who inspired hair do! SD ECLC will be transformed into WHOVILLE! Students will receive a special Grinch Heart from the PTO, too!
“And what happened, then? Well, in Whoville they say – that the Grinch’s small heart grew three sizes that day. And then – the true meaning of Christmas came through, and the Grinch found the strength of ten Grinches, plus two!” –How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
