Selkirk Middle School - February 21, 2020
Welcome to Selkirk!
Career Fair at Selkirk Middle School a Huge Success Thanks to Local Businesses and Volunteers
Today our students attended our first ever career fair. We were so fortunate to have community members here presenting their profession to our student body. The career fair provided our students with the opportunities to learn about different career choices.
All students will have an opportunity to learn and explore careers this year. Our counselor, Mrs. Mott, has been visiting classes and providing age-appropriate career guidance with fun and engaging activities. Most recently she was in the 8th grade classes presenting our on-line career program “Xello” for their career project, which will be used as part of their High School and Beyond Plan, a graduation requirement.
We would like to thank those who took time out of their busy day to showcase career options to our students. What an honor it was to meet all of you and thank you so much!
