Keepin' it Wheel
During P.E., we took turns riding scooter boards forwards and backwards, then we jumped in pairs on the parachute. At speech, we practiced following directions with Wheels on the Bus props, identified and named big/little transportation vehicles, and played fishing fun with colored cars. On the playground, we made lego trains, played duck duck goose, and passed the big blue ball around in a triangle. We enjoyed the train station dramatic play area with our friends from Room 4.
We had another new student start this week - welcome Harper!!
- Our focus for next week will be on Valentine's Day <3 We'll have a party on Thursday and hand out Valentines! This will be just for the kids, sorry parents :)
- Just a heads up/reminder, there will be no school the entire week of February 15!
- The North Coastal Consortium for Special Education (NCCSE) offers a variety of resources for families. They also have several workshops coming up, including one called "Summer's Coming! What will our kids do?"- check them out here... http://nccse.org/family.
