Act of Union

What's the Act of Union about?
The Act of Union is about upper Canada and lower Canada being one part. It happened in July, 1840 and it extended to 1841.
Why is it historical significance?
It's very affective. The British and French were forced to cooperate, and they can only speak English. It's unfair for the French people, and British felt comfortable. Everyone in Canada was affected.
Cooperation
The French and British finally cooperated. Though there are still some small problems between them, it was way better than before.
