NP³ Elementary 2021-2022
Matey Message Week 6 September 6 - 10
Even if hate has a bullhorn, love is louder.
Dear Matey Families,
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I am so appreciative of the playground donations! The kids are so grateful for the jump ropes, chalk, and playground balls. And, my husband, Tim helped me put together basketball hoops! I cannot wait to see those littles shooting hoops!!
This week is going to be another hot one. Please make sure your students have a water bottle with their names clearly written on it. We continue to gather water bottles and place them in our Lost and Found (front of the school near the office).
Your student's teacher will also send out a conference sign-up (using Calendly). Fall Conferences will be held virtually. Next week I will share a little bit more about conferences, Digital Portfolios, and progress reports.
Have a wonderful four day week,
Mrs. Dart

Leader in Me: Leadership Roles at Home
We can help our families experience the difference between “making my children do chores” and “empowering my children to contribute to the family.” While both approaches get the job done, the first is focused on task completion, while the second is focused on learning and practicing leadership and responsibility.
Attached and below are some ideas from Leader in Me to assist families to create leadership roles at home.
Bike Doc
Get your bike tuned up and ready to ride with a quick visit to the Bike Doc. Bike Doc is a mobile bike shop on wheels! Bike Doc will be available to fix bikes for free in the NP3 Elementary parking lot on Thursday, September 9 from 4 PM - 7 PM. Appointments are required.
Make an appointment using this link!
Annual NP3 Elementary Yearbook Cover Contest
If your child is interested in designing a cover for the Yearbook Cover Contest, it is happening NOW! Students can draw or design their covers over the next two weeks. It is due to classroom teachers on Friday, 9/17.
