Teacher Appreciation Week is next week (May 2-May 6)!! Here is the flyer which details some of the ways you can show appreciation for teachers and staff next week for all the amazing things they do!!!!
Dismissal - Until the end of the year, please note that all students will be dismissed at 2:45 (instead of a staggered dismissal). It would be helpful if parents who are picking up walkers would stand on/behind the colorful U.S. map area. In addition, please note that parents who are picking up car riders should stay in the car line and in their car. Thank you for your partnership!
Title 1 Survey- We need your help!
Title IA provides financial assistance to local educational agencies (LEAs) and schools with high numbers or high percentages of children from low-income families to help ensure that all children meet challenging state academic standards. Our school receives Title IA funding.
To help us continue to grow and improve our support of students, would you please take five minutes before May 6, 2022 to complete the survey linked below? Thank you!
End of Year Title 1 Parent/Guardian Survey - English

Spotlight On..... Mrs. Pride's Intervention Classroom!
My favorite thing about being an Intervention Specialist is building relationships with my students and their families!
Many of my students just read about the "Electric Eel" and will write a paragraph stating how the Electric Eel protects itself.
So far this year, my students have really enjoyed working in their small groups. My students have gotten to know each other really well and have become like family to one another. I am very blessed to be at Slate!

Grab a clean container and start collecting your tabs! It could be a plastic bag, a jar, a bucket, or whatever else you have around. Please bring collected tabs to the Slate Hill Office and place in the Pop Tab Bucket. For more information, email mhiestand@wscloud.org
