ME-News - March 2020
Meadowbrook's weekly e-communication to MBE families
MBE Spirit Week - MBE's Student Council's "Spirit Week" is still on! Check out the Spirit Week Flyer for full details for how to sport your Meadowbrook spirit from March 30, 2020, through April 3, 2020. Be sure to email your classroom teacher pictures of you in your full spirit wear to have them included in your Google Classroom!
Trimester II Report Cards Available - Report cards for the second trimester are available in Family Access. Please be sure to review your child’s card and teacher comments for an update on second-trimester performance.
March Is Reading Month - In conjunction with MBE’s PTA, we are in our last week of "March is Reading Month." You can still read along with MBE staff as we finish up Fenway and Hattie together! This book was provided free to all students and made possible through everyone’s generous donations to the Meadowbrook PTA. Return often to FENWAY AND HATTIE for updates, staff-read videos of chapters, and reading schedules.
Meadowbrook's Mission - Meadowbrook Elementary will provide a caring and safe environment, motivating students to become knowledgeable, respectful, and responsible learners.
Meadowbrook's Goals - Meadowbrook will focus on two primary goals (in addition to our other work!) during the 2019-20 school year. One goal focuses on revamping and revitalizing our PBS (Positive Behavior Support) system which highlights the traits of being safe, responsible, and respectful. The second goal focuses on increasing our students' ability to use skills and strategies to successfully read and comprehend informational text.
