Vanguard Q & A

At the end of the school lead call, members were asked to submit questions. Answers have been compiled for many of those questions and can be found by ALL Vanguard members in our Teams account. We will add to the Q & A after each monthly call.

  • Open the Teams apps or access it online through the Microsoft portal.
  • Click on General on the left.
  • Select Files at the top of the page.

Vanguard Sweatshirt

The Vanguard leadership team ordered sweatshirts for the upcoming school year. They have arrived and are probably the softest, most comfortable sweatshirts in existence.


If you are interested in ordering one, they cost $37.18 and will be delivered to your school when they arrive. The order will be open for two weeks, so please order as soon as you decide if you're getting one. If we do not meet the required number of orders, the entire order will be cancelled.

  • Your registrations are not transferrable to other individuals if you are unable to attend or have your registration covered by presenting.
  • Your school will not be reimbursed for a substitute if your position does not require one. This coverage is also not transferrable.
  • You have until October 13th to register or your spot will be given away.

The Vanguard application closes TOMORROW, Friday, September 15th. If you have individuals interested in applying, please encourage them to do so ASAP.

Microsoft 21st Century Learning Design

Microsoft 21st Century Learning Design

"21st Century Learning Design (21CLD) for Educators is a collection of 8 courses with 4-6 lessons in each course. This learning path provides teachers with clear and practical ways to develop 21st skills using digital technologies with their students. Through a collection of Office Mix Lessons, 21st Century Learning Design for Educators builds on the research methodology providing a collaborative, practice-based process to help educators transform how they design enriching learning activities for their students. The complete series of 8 courses consists of 20 hours of Office Mix Lessons, video and self-assessment materials. Educators have the opportunity to actively participate in the course by sharing their materials and by engaging in ongoing discussion as part of a community of learners."
