Materials needed:



peat moss, or organic compost


How to do it:

1. Dig all the way around the perimeter of the plant.

2. Gently pull it out of the ground.

3. You can either pull the roots apart or cut them apart.

4. Place the plant segments in a bucket of water riGht away so they don't dry out.

5. Dig a hole as deep as the original one.

6. Add peat moss or organic compost

7. Put the plant segment in the hole and fill with soil.

8. Add a layer of mulch for the winter, and pull it off during summer.
