SWE Work / Life Balance Program
"Sandwiched Together: Advocating for the Caregivers"
Every day we age, yet in the daily rush of our careers, we also support our families. For those that care for both children and elderly family members, there is another layer to the aging. Join Angel McMullen-Gunn: she has two young children and two grandmothers that have required different levels of care. She is constantly striving to balance it all! This session will focus on her journey of managing and actively being a part of the “Sandwich Generation.” She will share lessons-learned on creating a support network, as well as how to manage and advocate / assist those affected by aging parents and child rearing.
