Conversion Ready Step One: Check Your Gmail

This week, you should check your Gmail account. Information and Technology Services has started “mirroring” your Outlook email account with your Gmail account. By the end of this week, you will see all of your mail in both places.

All of the folders in your Inbox should have converted to “Labels” in Gmail. If you notice missing email in either account, do not see your “Labels” in Gmail, or have received any error messages, please contact the Helpdesk at (904) 529-4832 and we will be happy to assist you. It will be important to take care of any of these issues before the conversion date of May 31st to ensure a smooth transition.

To access your SDCC @myoneclay.net Gmail account:

  1. Open the Chrome browser.

  2. Go to mail.google.com

  3. Type in your SDCC @myoneclay.net Google Address. The account is in the following format: firstname.lastname@myoneclay.net. (Ex: duane.weeks@myoneclay.net)

  4. Type in your password. Your network and Google passwords are now the same. If you cannot login to your Google account with your network password, please contact the Service Desk at 904-529-4832 and they will be happy to assist you.

  5. You are in your SDCC Google Gmail Account!

What if I notice something wrong with my account?

As Information and Technology Services is working through the process to convert to the Google Apps for Education, you might notice a few error messages with Google accounts for you or your students. Please contact the Service Desk at (904) 529-4832 or submit an Issue Trak and we will be happy to help you.
