FFA Barn kid of the month

This person has been working hard at the barn with their goat. This person has been working diligently with their pigs, and she is improving every day! Our barn kid of the month is... Adeline Leggett.

FFA Member of the Month

This person has been working extremely hard on his LDE team. He has really stepped his game up this year, and he placed 1st in Job Interview at both the Alba-Golden contest and our District contest! Our member of the month is... Erick Vargas!

Meet your officers

Each month we are going to introduce one of our chapter officers. Up next is Riley! Riley Youngers is our 2021-2022 Wylie FFA Treasurer. She is a senior in high school and a 4th year FFA member. Her SAE projects are showing market sheep, chickens, and steers. Riley has competed on the Senior Quiz, as well as the Senior Chapter Conducting leadership development event (LDE) teams. She has also participated on the Poultry Judging career development event (CDE) team. One piece of advice that she would like to give FFA members is to always try something once. Your time in the Wylie FFA is limited and you don't want to miss out on something you might enjoy. All of us like our comfort zone but when we take a chance and try something new we can find more opportunities that we will enjoy.
