Students will begin class by developing persuasive arguments for different topics. Students will then brainstorm their positions on the prompt, "A book is always better than its movie adaptation".

Homework: Enjoy Space Camp!
1. Writing Time
Students will spend time writing a persuasive essay that responds to the prompt, "A book is always better than its movie adaptation". The writing will be due at the end of class.
