Bearcat Brief
April 25, 2019
Notes from Niki
- There will not be a Student of the Month Assembly on Friday, April 26. We will postpone until May 3. Science testing is taking a while- our kids have been working really hard and there is a lot of reading on there. I don't think shortening the afternoon classes would be prudent at this time. Hopefully, with the 90-minute session on Monday and a 5-day week, we can get it in next Friday. I will be out of the building- I'm not sure for how long, unfortunately.
- If students are not finished with their science GLA at the end of their science class on Friday, they will be funneled to the library to finish with Crystal. Please do not send students to the library. STEM class will be in Kim's room tomorrow. If you are missing an 8th grader in class, check if they are coming from Phil's class.
- The document below is our groups for ELA MAP testing on Monday. Let me know if there need to be any changes. Please share with students during 7th hour where they will be on Monday- we will also post them a few places on Monday morning so students can double check. We will go to testing rooms for advisory and then ask you to email Gigi with any absences from your testing roster. I think that will save the disruption of going to 1st hour and then having to almost immediately transition.
