From DJ McConnell on the PCSD Fine Arts Calendar
At this point, all fine arts teachers in the PCSD should have access to our Paulding County Fine Arts Calendar. If you do not have access, please email DJ McConnell directly at dmcconnell@paulding.k12.ga.us. Please make sure you go ahead and input your dates on the calendar ASAP if you have not already done so. A few important notes:
- One good resource for anyone who may be unfamiliar with the outlook calendar is:
https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Calendar-basics-ff69e5c9-3412-4e12-8b10-4943e17b156b
- The web version and the desktop version of the calendar interface are very similar.
- Please only list the dates of performances / exhibitions / etc. Please do not list rehearsal dates.
- When naming events, it is important to list the title and the time in the appointment name. For example, use something like “Scoggins Middle School Band Concert – 7:00 PM”. You would also need to list the performance venue (if somewhere different from their school).
Also, please remember to turn OFF reminders off for your events on the calendar (this will keep all of us from getting multiple reminders each day).
Fine Arts Grant
The deadline to apply is on or before September 6 by 4:00p.m.
You are more than welcome to email it to me or send it through inner office mail. I WILL NOT accept any grant applications past this exact time so plan accordingly.
Grant Application and Grant Guidelines are attached below.
Thanks!
