October 1st, 2021
Raider Families,
It was great to see so many of our families out for our Open House this week. Today is the 6 week progress report for the 1st grading period. Students and parents should be able to access their IPR grades in your Home Access Center (HAC) at the end of the day on Monday, October 4th. Click here to access HAC (Home Access Center)
On Wednesday, October 13th all 10th and 11th grade students will take the College Board Preliminary Scholastic Assessment Test, or PSAT. For 11th grade students, the PSAT/NMSQT is the route of entry to the National Merit Scholarship Program.
12th graders will take the College Board Scholastic Assessment Test, or SAT.
9th graders will be in content rotations.
We need all students on campus and in their assigned classes no later than 9am. Students will receive an email at their student email address, letting them know what room to report to. We ask for your support in creating a supportive testing environment. Please do not make appointments on October 13th since we will not be able to interrupt the testing environment.
We appreciate you understanding and hope you have a wonderful weekend.

COVID UPDATES
Here is this week's letter communicating positive COVID cases of individuals who have been on our campus. We are sanitizing classrooms, cafeteria, locker rooms and high traffic areas on a daily basis. As always student and staff safety is our number one priority. Please know that contact tracing is done each time there is a positive case and students and staff who are deemed in close contact for each case are notified immediately.
national yearbook week
Most yearbookers know that just being on yearbook staff is cause for celebration. But in case that wasn’t enough, each year in early October there’s an official one-week holiday, declared in 1987 by President Ronald Reagan to recognize this important school publication.
National Yearbook Week honors school yearbook programs for chronicling their school’s history and the students who work to compile these memories into a lasting printed record.
While Yearbook Week seeks to recognize the role a school yearbook plays in documenting educational achievement and school tradition, it’s not just a holiday for yearbook staff.
If the yearbook is for everyone, so is yearbook week! National Yearbook Week begins October 4th!
With our theme, Timeless, we believe that the ideas for dress up day go well with it and would bring up the excitement for our finished product. The days would be as followed:
- Monday: Black and White Day
- Tuesday: Decade Day
- Wednesday: Senior Citizen Dress Up Day
- Thursday: Color/Mismatch Day
- Friday: School Spirit Day
