Title One Update
Here are some great activities to get your reader excited for reading in the new year!
Best of the Year
Create Best of the Year cards. See examples below for the cards. Put all the Best of Year cards in a glass bowl and pass them around. Each guest picks a card and they have to answer the phrase on the card. Then throw your card back in and pass around again!
Examples of cards: Best Moment of the Year
Best Piece of Advice You Received This Year
Best Movie You Saw
Best Thing You Did WIth Someone Else This Year
Snow- *Snow Day Activities Jar
Brainstorm things to do on a snow day.
Put each idea on a strip of paper.
Put the strips in a “Snow Day” jar.
On our next snow day pull out a strip of paper for an idea of something to do that day.
Snow Day Idea Examples could include:
Build a snowman!
Go sledding!
Play with snow in the bathtub.
Make “snow” cream.
Watch the movie, “Frozen”.
Build a fort in your living room out of blankets.
