Principal's Newsletter
From the desk of Mrs. McDevitt
February 5, 2021
It was a big surprise starting the week with a Nor'easter. I hope the children were able to have some fun in the snow!! We enjoyed all of our Catholic Schools Week celebrations.
Wednesday we celebrated our teachers with a beautiful lunch provided by Mrs. Boyle, Mrs. Long, many parents and the Parents Association. We had spelling and religion bees in each individual classroom.
Thursday was student appreciation day. Each child received a special snack and we played a school wide Bingo game.
Friday our 3rd grade students presented their saint after mass. There was a pizza lunch provided by the Parents Association. There was a visit from the Lower Moreland Police and Fire Departments to pick up the cards and treats the children made!
Thank you for all of the support and help with this very special week.
Please take a look at our Facebook page for the many pictures.
We had our 50/50 drawing on Friday. Our school president, Grace DiDonato picked the winner. Congratulations to the Horger family!!! Michael in room 4-1 had the winning ticket.
Stay well and safe and may God bless you and your families.
Warmest regards,
Mrs. Sandra McDevitt.

Daily Health Monitoring
Parents remember to monitor your child's health everyday. The attached link will provide guidelines to help you. If your child is not feeling well please keep your child home. You do have the option to switch to virtual learning while your child is home. The first day home will be a sick day. Please contact the office. If you need virtual learning while home sick, please contact the homeroom teacher and myself. The teacher will get your child online in a reasonable amount of time. If your child is going virtual they must follow the virtual learning guidelines. Children are not permitted to come in and out of classes. It is too disruptive for teachers and students. Please follow these guidelines. We are happy to make the arrangements depending on each circumstance. If anyone in your household is exhibiting symptoms of Covid, please have your child work from home and contact your physician. Please be aware of community spread of Covid and follow all protocols so that we can keep each other healthy and safe.
When you are picking up your children, please have your mask on and do not stand in groups. Please remain in or near your car. Thank you for your continued support and understanding. If your child is home from school, you must call or email the school office with the reason. You must have a doctors note if your child is out sick for 3 or more days. If a Covid test is taken, please contact us with the results.
