Dear Parents,

We are so glad that most of our students are well and getting over their illnesses. We are in the last week of March since the following week will be Spring Break. We are remembering Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on “Holy Week!” It’s a time for meditation in our lives. It also a time to try to explain to our children how our Lord’s love for all of us is reflected in the Passion.

This week we’ll also celebrate Easter. Please send wrapped candies to put into the plastic eggs for our children. Thanks goes out to all the parents that already sent candies. Thank you for all your help and support.

Remember this coming Friday the 25th is NOON DISMISSAL. Please send lunch for your children on this half day since we will not be serving lunch for the school this day. We will be remembering the:

“Viacrusis” (or the way of the cross) of our Lord Jesus Christ.

This Holy Thursday, we won’t have MASS service at 9:00a.m., but there will be another Service at 7:00 p.m. if you want to come.

Next week, March 28th– April 1st is our Spring Break and there are NO CLASSES.

Phonics: This week, we are learning a new letter the letter “Z.” This week we are singing, dancing, drawing, coloring painting about this new letter.

Math: We are reviewing the numbers from 1 to 20. We are viewing some videos and tracing the numbers from 1 to 5. We are doing this by following sequences like circles or sticks on a sheet of paper.

Social Studies: We are learning more about the planet Earth by viewing some videos about the North American maps.

Science: March 21st, we celebrate the coming of the season of spring. The children are learning more about the 4 seasons of the year.

Religion: We will learn about “Holy Week” by viewing some videos and doing some activities as well. We continue to learn new Spanish vocabulary and we hope you have noticed the growth. We are so glad they can express more of their feelings in the Spanish language.

We want to say “Thank you” to all our volunteers. We really appreciate all your help and support.

We hope you have a wonderful “Holy week and Easter vacation.

God bless you. We’ll see you soon.

Mrs. Sonia & Mrs. Marseille.
