Edmond Doyle News

A special thank you to Mount Triumph Baptist Church for allowing our 4th graders to come to their Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration. Our students always enjoy listening to the special speakers and having a yummy lunch. It is a special honor we appreciate so much. They loved the message and learning more about how they can be their best and fulfill their purposes in life. Our 4th graders were complimented on their great behavior and good manners. Our students make us proud whenever we take them out in public or whenever we have special guests.
Flu season is upon us. Several children have had a stomach virus. We are keeping everything clean here... feel free to send extra Clorox wipes to your child's teacher. Thank you for calling the school when your child is sick and for getting doctor's notes when they go. Please make sure you are giving us address changes, phone number changes, email information, and any new contact information we might need on hand.
Students that met an AR goal of 90% accuracy with 150% or that have scored 80% or better on their Study Island Benchmarks will be going bowling tomorrow afternoon. Once again, it pays to work hard and to do your very best. Hopefully, next time, everyone can join us on our special adventure.
Third and fourth graders are preparing for their State Test. Thank you for supporting them and their teachers as they get ready. We appreciate the way you expect the best from your children.
We are so excited to announce that Edmond Doyle is a Lowe's Toolbox for Education grant winner. We received $5,000.00 to help us build an aquaponic greenhouse for our students. This is a great opportunity for our school! Thank you to LOWE'S for choosing us!!
