Kindergarten News:
First Grade News:
Mrs. Crawford's class was studying light and shadows in Science Class. They used paper and scissors to make a figure outline then held it up to the projector light so it would cast a shadow. The class had to try and guess what figure they made based on the shadow. This one is a fierce dinosaur!
First Grade News:
Look at this feast that 1st grade enjoyed! They had a lot of fun with this tradition and even created special hats to wear.

Third Grade News:
Fourth Grade News:
Students in Ms. Rambeau’s writing class are celebrating the end of their narrative writing unit by bringing their stories to life. Students have been working hard for weeks prewriting, drafting, revising and editing. They are celebrating all of their hard work by publishing their stories just like the real authors!
Students in Mr. Perino’s class work on a writing assignment and a poster, telling facts about Thanksgiving in other countries. Students spent time researching and writing about what they learned during the week of writing.
Fifth Grade News:
In all fifth grade writing classes, students wrote opinion essays on “Should Turkey be Thanksgiving’s Main Course?” Then, they created their own turkeys to display with their writing!
The cold weather brought our first indoor recess time. Students played board games with friends. It was great to see them having fun with games such as Checkers, Yahtzee, and Connect Four.
Our First in Math “Wall of Fame” debuted this week. Students are excited for our daily announcements of “Player of the Day” of each class and they can move their card when they meet their next “sticker” goal.
ELA students celebrated the end of a unit by using Flip Grid to create videos to summarize the book they read.
Friendly Reminders:
Please remember to attend your child(ren)'s conference on Monday evening or Tuesday. Communication between you and the teacher is a critical piece of their success in school. While you are here, be sure to look at our Lost and Found, located in the cafeteria, if your child is missing something.
Private Car Information:
Please do not park along the sidewalk or in front of the round-a-bout. It is important that cars are able to drive along there to safely let their children out of the car for school. Thank you!
Water Bottles:
Due to the continued closure of our water fountains, students should bring a water bottle to school daily. The bottle must only contain water.
School Gate Guardian:
Please remember to bring your driver's license/photo ID with you when you visit our school. We will require all visitors to scan through School Gate Guardian. Please understand that this is for the safety of our students and staff.
