DAW- Life in Deaf Schools

By: Devin Gabriel Lemons Jr and Dylan Sampson

Intro

Life in a Deaf school is no different than life in any hearing school. Being deaf isn't a disability, it's a community just like any other community. The only difference in deaf people and other people is that they speak a different language. Just like people in Americans speak English, people in Mexico speak Spanish, and people in the deaf community use sign language. And Deaf people can learn just as much as a hearing person. There are schools that are just for Deaf students and they learn the same stuff that hearing students can do.
