COMPASSION FOR CLEMENTON
Can you recite the five CCESC core values? That's okay. If you participated in the Stuff the Bus event on Friday morning, you know one of them. It's compassion. Many school districts, non-profits and corporations list the core value on their website, like we do, but core values are so much more than words on a screen. The act of planning and implementing a drive-through donation event to benefit our neighbors in Clementon was a sincere display of our commitment to our core values. Seeing the inside of the bus packed tightly with donations was outstanding. Knowing that our 2-hour event will ease the burden of securing food and toiletries for local families is all anyone needs to remember about compassion and our core values.
Note: Check the homepage for the other four core values. They matter too.
