Principal's Message
Hello Bard Community,
It is incredible how quickly this school year is coming to an end! As we look forward to the next academic year, let's acknowledge the milestones reached and celebrate the end of another productive year of learning. We invite you to join us at a few of our upcoming year-end events, such as our annual Parade Out The Books assembly, School Picnic, and Kindergarten Completion Ceremony. We will also bid a bittersweet farewell to our 5th-grade students during their Completion Ceremony.
We hope your students enjoy their summer vacation and take the opportunity to reconnect, recharge, and create lasting memories with family and friends.
We extend our deepest gratitude for your continued trust and collaboration. Your partnership has played an instrumental role in fostering an environment of growth and learning.

Student Safety 1st During Drop-Off and Pick-Up
When picking up and dropping off your students at school, ideally, we would ask that you park on a side street or in the school parking lot and walk your student to a school entrance.
Rear Parking Lot: If you drop off or pick up students at the side gate of the rear parking lot, please stay to the right, nearest the yellow line at the fence. Staying to the right will allow other vehicles to exit around those vehicles still waiting for their student(s).
Jerry Drive and Lillian Drive Gates: There are two gates at the rear of the Bard playground, which are available for student pick-up or drop-off. The gates at the Jerry Drive and Lillian Drive cul de sacs are staffed during pick-up and drop-off times and are significantly less crowded. The Jerry Drive and Lillian Drive gates are excellent pick-up and drop-off area alternatives.
IT IS NOT SAFE AND ILLEGAL TO PARKING ON PLEASANT VALLEY RD DIRECTORY OUTSIDE THE KINDER CLASSROOMS. There is plenty of parking in the school parking lot, and much safer.
Thank you for your cooperation!
