Our annual Halloween parades will be held on Monday October 31, 2022, for students in preschool to fourth grade. We would like to invite parents, family, friends, and community members to celebrate this day with our students. Please keep in mind, all children have the option to participate in our parades. An alternative activity will be provided for those students who do not wish to participate. The parade times are listed below for each school. Please click on the link to read about keeping our children safe during Halloween. I can’t wait to see our children dressed in their favorite costumes.

Back to School Nights
Mr. Farinelli, Mrs. Heller, and Mr. Maguire were pleased to have such a wonderful turnout for our Back to School Nights. All parents who did not attend feel free to check our website to access the presentations.
We look forward to seeing you again during our Parent/Teacher Conferences. We will be offering in-person and virtual to accommodate our families. Parent involvement is a key to supporting your child’s academic growth and success.
Save the Date: Conferences will be held November 21, 2022 and November 22, 2022.
STUDENT SAFETY
Ethel M Burke Families
Please reference the letter sent out from Mr. Maguire explaining the change in morning drop off and pick up procedures. Moving forward all students will be entering/exiting by the back entrance.
There is nothing more important than the safety of our children. We appreciate your ongoing commitment to ensure our students are protected as they enter and leave our school grounds.
Please take time to review the guidance for bike safety with your child.
Eureka Math Parent Night
We are excited to announce that Eureka Math is the new district Math curriculum for students in grades 1-5. Our informational session will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, from 6:00p.m.-7:00p.m. at Bellmawr Park School. Light fare and door prizes will be available.
Mrs. Michelle Delaney, Director of Mathematics and Ms. Jennifer Packer, Elementary Mathematics Coach, will present the curriculum and provide parents and guardians math manipulatives to help support math practice at home.
Important of School Attendance
As we move to the middle of the marking period, we would like to remind you of the importance of promoting strong attendance for all students. Every day a student is absent from school is an opportunity for learning loss. Research indicates when students are consistently absent from school they are at risk of lower academic failure. Please join our district initiative to increase school attendance through our H.E.R.O. Program. Our students are heroes when they are here every day ready to learn and on time.
