Veterans’ Day Mass
We would like to invite school parents who are Veterans or Active Duty Military to attend mass with us this coming Thursday, Nov. 11th. Our 8th grade SALT program will deliver a short presentation following mass, and will recognize our school Veterans and Military parents. Mass begins at 8:15am. Please have a seat in the back pews directly in front of the A/V room, or you may wait in the narthex for your student to enter if you would like them to sit with you. Thank you to all our family and friends who have served our country!
Save the Date for Turkey Bingo!
Our annual 8th Grade Turkey Bingo will be held on Saturday, Nov. 13th following 5pm mass! Our 8th graders will have food for sale, raffles, and of course a chance to win a turkey with a B-I-N-G-O! Fun for the whole family!
The Book Fair is Coming!
Our library’s fundraiser, the Scholastic Book Fair, returns November 13-18! While we intend to keep shopping limited to students and staff during the school day, Mrs. Hattaway is offering opportunities for parents to visit the book fair outside of school hours.
Limited slots are available for family shopping Saturday, Nov. 13th and Tuesday, Nov. 16th. Please RSVP through the Sign Up Genius links for either shopping day. Please read the instructions and make sure you follow them so we all have a safe and enjoyable book fair experience. Online shopping is available November 12-25th. All online orders ship to home and book-only orders over $25 ship free. Every purchase benefits our school and helps develop a love of reading. Use this link so the school library receives credit for your purchases!
Don’t forget to set up an ewallet for your students (or contribute to a teacher or the library)! It’s incredibly easy, limits the cash sent to school, and Mrs. Hattaway loves it so much more than counting change. Looking forward to growing our students’ love of reading! Questions: email@example.com
Looking For a Few Book Fair Volunteers!

Orders and payments are due by Friday, November 19th.
If you have any questions, email Jen Taylor at firstname.lastname@example.org
Update on 4th Grade SALT Food Drive
The CSSE Food Drive organized by the 4th grade SALT program has come to a close, and WOW! On Thursday, 4th grade adjusted their goal to 3,000 after reaching 2,780 pounds of food. Well, our community responded in a BIG way on Friday!
Team Patrick finished in 5th place with a total of 628 pounds.
Team Aquinas finished in 4th with a total of 753 pounds.
Team Francis finished in 3rd place with 1,026 pounds.
Team Drexel finished in 2nd place with 1,098 pounds.
And the winning team of a free dress day is Team Kateri with a whopping 1,228 pounds. (We will send out a message with the date of the free dress day later).
The final result… As a school, we Eagles raised a total of 4,745 pounds!!! We smashed our original goal of 4,000 pounds! Thank you so much to everyone who helped us fight hunger!

Have you had a chance to check out the BMCHS Canned Food Drive Art Auction on Instagram? BMCHS students, including several eagle alumni, donated their artwork to raise money for those in need. Alumni artists include Ryan Hughes, auction committee chair Blayne Schwarz, and Ella Thomas. Check out alumni Rebecca Horn’s article in OKC Friday. @cfd_art_auction.
Let us know about your student's achievements or give a shout out to a staff member so we can celebrate their Eagle Excellence!
