Minutes - The following minutes were included in the agenda:
- The Board approved the minutes from the November 22, 2021 Legislative meeting.
- The November committee meeting minutes were affirmed.
Education Committee/Curriculum/Technology/Student Services Recommendations -
The Board reviewed and approved the following:
- Enrollment Report
- Conferences for professional development
- Student activities and trips
- Extended School Year (ESY) program for summer 2022
Finance Committee Recommendations - The Board approved the following:
- Routine matters - The Board approved the Treasurer's Report, the list of bill payments, and the obsolete list.
- Other matters - The Board approved a transfer of funds to the capital reserve fund, an agreement with Candoris to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of our network, the Eastern Center for Arts and Technology Operating Budget for 2022-2023, and a consulting agreement with Ms. Melonie Butler for grades 6-12 Connections program.
Personnel Report/Recommendations - The Board approved the following:
- Personnel Report inclusive of appointments, resignations, retirements, leaves of absence, changes of status, and the extracurricular report
- Memorandum of Understanding with UDEA for additional compensation for Certified School Nurses for COVID-19 contact tracing
- Proposed changes to the Food Services rates and responsibility stipend
Policy Committee Recommendations -
The Board affirmed repeated first reading of the following policies:
- Eligibility of Nonresident Students (202)
- Promotion and Retention (215)
- Contracted Services (818)
- Volunteers (916)
Other Recommendations - The Board approved the update to the District's Health and Safety Plan specifically regarding masking and visitors/volunteers, effective January 3, 2022.
Liaison Committee Reports - The Board reviewed the following informational reports:
- Montgomery County Intermediate Unit - Darlene Davis
- Montgomery County Legislative Committee -Andy Kessler
- EASTERN Center for Arts & Technology - Art Levinowitz
- Equity and Empowerment Steering Committee - Jennifer Iannitti
- Educational Advisory Committee - Titia Scherpbier

Solicitor's Report - Mr. Diasio reported that the Board met prior to the December 20, 2021 Legislative meeting, from 6:00 PM until just before 7:00 PM, to discuss personnel matters included on the Legislative agenda and to receive information on a number of confidential student matters.
